Biographical information; political records, including questionnaires and campaign files (1982, 1984, and 1986); news releases; newsletters; correspondence files; and personal and legislative subject files reflecting Wynia's career as a Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor state representative from St. Paul's District 63B (1976-1989). Wynia was house majority leader and her main fields of legislation were health, welfare, finance, insurance, and state appropriations. She resigned from the house in 1989 to become state commissioner of human rights.
